HTN Productions announces for immediate release, "Revenge On The Telemarketers", a comedy album of calls from telemarketers recorded by Tom Mabe.

America's newest hero, Tom Mabe, stands up for all of us by turning the tables on those annoying telemarketers.

Tom is on a crusade to put an end to those annoying sales calls that come while you're trying to work, having dinner, relaxing with loved ones or just trying to use the bathroom. Tom, an award winning music composer and songwriter for film and commercial advertising traded in his Main Street office for a house payment in August 94. Tom recalls:

I didn't realize I was going to be bombarded by telemarketers! When you work for yourself, you jump every time the phone rings, thinking it's a client. One day a few months ago, I was stressed out really bad because I was broke and it seemed most of my clients had me on the ninety years same as cash program. The first two calls of that day were from telemarketers. When I answered the first call, I got mad and hung up. When I answered the second call, I got even: Ring Ring: Me: "Hello". Telemarketer: "Is the lady of the house in? Me (in a deep voice): "This is she (burp)." The telemarketer hung up!! I laughed so hard, I cried. I couldn't wait until the next call came. With each call, I got better. I would sing songs, share stories of loneliness and pretend to have one-sided phone sex. I even fell in love with a guy from a lawn care service (again pretending). There's nothing more rewarding than hearing a telemarketer trying to get off the phone with me. I am doing a public service for America. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind them doing their job, but when I say I'm working, don't keep pitching. If they're not going to let me make a living, I'm going to make a living out of them.
